How a matchmaking event works!
1. Registration | until end of September, 2018
You can register until end of Septemberl, 2018 for the matchmaking event - but please take into account, the earlier you register, the more people can see your profile. There will be several email updates up to the event for those that are already registered explaining what to do next.
2. Set up a profile
Create a strong profile which will raise your visibility to others on this platform. Make it clear and concise. Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners and whom you want to meet. A good profile will generate more meeting requests. Don't forget your profile will be live and visible even after the event!
Use the section My profile to display the expertise, competencies and ambitions of your organisation. This will help other participants to understand who you are.
Use the section Marketplace to present your cooperation interests: You want to offer or request a service or expertise? You are looking for cooperation partners for a research project? This kind of information should be added in the section after your profile.
3. Request meetings | 3 - 28 September, 2018
Be active, not reactive. From 3 September, 2018 onwards, you will have the opportunity to send meeting requests to other participants. We will send you a reminder in advance!
Browse published profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet at the matchmaking event. Adding a meaningful remark why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted. Accepted meeting requests will be scheduled by the organizer.
4. Build connections | 1-4 October, 2018
About 1-2 days before the event you will receive an email with your detailed meeting schedule. Meetings will take place in the exhibition hall in the matchmaking area. A table will be reserved for you and your meeting partner. You can also check your meeting agenda online or via the b2match app. Please make sure to be at the service desk in time!
